Takashi Kako Piano Solo Concert 2026
A highlight of the program is, of course, "Is Paris Burning?" but it's also packed with epoch-making pieces from his career as a musician to date!
The impressive and beautiful piece "Divine Passacaglia," which was created for "THE CENTURY IN MOVING IMAGES" has been performed with an orchestra and as a duet with cello, but has never been performed as a piano solo.
In response to popular expectations, it has been adapted into a solo version, which will be included in a piano score collection to be released in spring 2026 and premiered at this concert!
Please come along to a concert where it is said that "the solo is the essence."
He is truly known as the "poet of the piano," as he creates pieces in which every note from his heart is written down, resonating with unparalleled beauty.
