Movie “Ieji (Homeland)” will be presented to the public.


The movie “Ieji (Homeland)” starring actor Kenichi Matsuyama (28) (directed by Nao Kubota, released on March 1) was officially exhibited in the panorama section of the 64th Berlin International Film Festival, which opens on 6th February.

The panorama section is a section that introduces works that have both writer performance and commercial performance.
“Ieji (Homeland)” is a story about the rebirth of a family who lost their hometown in Fukushima after the Great East Japan Earthquake, starring Seiyo Uchino, Yuko Tanaka, Sakura Ando and others.
Director Kubota, who made his debut as a director and officially exhibited at the world’s three major film festivals, has worked on many TV documentaries and is the director of “Is Paris Burning”, a documentary by Takashi Kako that aired in February 2013.
The beginning of the movie starts with a piano solo, and the last part of the music is played with “Takashi Kako Quartet”.
