Takashi Kako Quartet Debut 2010

We arrived at the "Quartet", a quartet of piano, violin, viola and cello.

Takashi Kako hasn't had a specific group for about 25 years since the piano trio "TOK" with piano, bass and drums, which he was active when he lived in Paris.
The concept that has been warmed up during that time has finally come to fruition, and "Takashi Kako Quartet" will debut.
As a result of thinking about Takashi Kako's own music as an ensemble that can realize a world of acoustic and beautiful sound with the minimum number of people, it is a quartet of four people, piano, violin, viola, and cello.
The names of the three strings are Mariko Aikawa (violin), Kaori Bamba (viola), and Akio Ueki (cello).
Recorded by avex-CLASSICS in June, the new album "QUARTET" will be released on 22nd September.
In addition to the masterpiece "Is Paris Burning", the latest work of the movie "Saigo no Chushingura (The Last Ronin)" to be released in December will also be included.
Please listen to the many songs that have been handed down over time in the debut album and debut concert.
